Outside Event (PD): Essential Career Skills – Session 6

The Roger C. Stewart Leadership and Professional Development Department (LEAD) will be hosting an Essential Career Skills Series session on April 11th from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Forney Hall G124. This session will feature an alum from the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology, Josh Guzek (BS’22 in Aviation Management), who works as the Assistant Operations Officer and Aircraft Rescue Firefighter at Gary/Chicago International Airport. Josh will be speaking on his experiences at Purdue and regarding the importance of the leadership competency of Communication and its role in his career development.

The Essential Career Skills Series is an alumni guest speaker series that highlights leadership and professional competencies to help prepare Boilermakers to become career-ready professionals. These sessions will feature a guest speaker, activity, and a discussion/reflection, and students who attend a set number of sessions will be eligible for a certificate of completion.
