Outside Event: The Northeast Big Data Innovation Hub: Data Science Resources and Opportunities for Learners and Educators
Presented By: Florence Hudson, Executive Director of the Northeast Big Data Innovation Hub and Emily Rothenberg, Program Manager of the National Student Data Corps (NSDC)
Abstract: Join us to learn about the free programs and resources available through the Northeast Big Data Innovation Hub (NEBDHub), the National Student Data Corps (NSDC), and the COVID Information Commons (CIC). We will also highlight key initiatives such as the Prototype Open Knowledge Network, the Quantum Initiative, and upcoming Digital Twins projects. This presentation will show how the NEBDHub brings partners together to tackle societal and scientific challenges, drive innovation, and build data science capacity at the individual, institutional, regional, and national levels. You’ll also learn about the NSDC’s supportive community and its free resources, including short videos, career panels, and hands-on data science projects for learners and educators at all education levels. Discover how you can get involved and use these resources and opportunities in your classroom, your institution, or your own personal learning journey.
