Sarah Bryant, Ph.D., is the Chief Scientific Advancement Officer at the American Mathematical Society, where she leads the Society’s programs, equity initiatives, professional development efforts, and national data strategy through the Division of Scientific Advancement. A mathematician with a Ph.D. from Purdue University, her research spans probability, analysis, and equity in mathematics. Prior to joining AMS, she served as Executive Director of the EDGE Foundation and project manager for an NSF ADVANCE grant, in addition to spending over a decade teaching and mentoring at predominantly undergraduate institutions.
