On Friday, October 25th, please join us in welcoming Nina Mahmoudian, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering ,and Mo Rastgaar, Professor at the Polytechnic Institute. Together, they will be discussing Applications of Robotics in Harsh Dynamic Environments and for Assistive and Rehabilitation Devices. Nina’s fundamental research includes Design & Manufacturing and Systems, Measurements, & Controls. In addition to her research, her application areas include human-machine interaction, transportation, and robotics. Mo’s research area includes Assistive Robotics and Controls. He is also a Founding Director of the Human-Interactive Robotics Lab ( HIRoLab), specializing in evolving assistive and rehabilitation devices for improved mobility.
