Navigating the Journey: Leadership, Well-being, and Giving Grace in the Workplace

The Women’s Global Health Institute (WGHI) are excited to host our next interview, “Navigating the Journey: Leadership, Well-being, and Giving Grace in the Workplace,” featuring Dr. Rebecca Doerge, Provost of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a renowned expert in statistics, data science, and genetics. Dr. Doerge, a first-generation student from rural New York, earned her PhD in statistics from North Carolina State University. She was a Dean at Carnegie Mellon and a Distinguished Professor at Purdue, with significant contributions to statistical theory and cancer research, particularly breast cancer.

 

Dr. Doerge will be interviewed by Dr. Dorothy Teegarden, Professor of Nutrition Science and Director of the WGHI, on Nov 11 at 6:30 PM EST. The interview is part of the WGHI Interview Series, which features distinguished scientists and leaders on research, leadership, career path, and work-life balance.
