Outside Event: Executive Forum with Bevin Maguire, Vice President Corporate Communications & Chief Communications Officer at Applied Materials
The Executive Forum is open to the public, as seating permits, and provides opportunities for the exchange of ideas and discussion of topics and issues facing business and management.
Bevin Maguire is the Chief Communications & Brand Officer and Vice President of Corporate Communications at Applied Materials. In this role she is responsible for evolving global corporate communications and branding, leading teams across the U.S., China, Europe, India, Israel, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. Bevin oversees brand, social, external, internal and executive communications and events.
In her past leadership roles, Bevin has helped companies build brands, protect their reputation, and deliver clear strategic priorities through marketing and communications campaigns and programs.
Prior to her current role, she was the Chief Communications Officer and Vice President of Communications at Honeywell – leading the communications and corporate social responsibility teams for the corporate and its five business units.
Bevin began her career at The Rockefeller Group in NYC and later moved to IBM, where she held communications and marketing roles both in business units and at the corporate level. A highlight of her IBM career was being able to live in Shanghai, China and work across IBM’s growth markets.
Throughout her career Bevin has been a dedicated mentor and supporter of the next generation of communicators and marketeers. She is delighted to continue her role as a judge for the Jack Koten Page Principles Case Study Award as part of the Page Society.
A grateful New York University alumna, Bevin sits on the NYU College of Arts and Science’s Alumni Board and is the chair of the awards committee. Upon moving to the Bay Area, Bevin joined the board of The Montalvo Arts Center, which supports intersection of people, place and programs to nourish creativity, connection and sense of belonging.
