About the Entrepreneurship Cohort
The Entrepreneurship Data Mine learning community will focus on the connections between data science and entrepreneurship. In the fall semester, students will take a 3-credit Introduction to Entrepreneurship and Innovation course, ENTR 20000, simultaneously with a 1-credit Data Mine Seminar course. In the spring semester, students will transition to a Data Mine Corporate Partners project centered around entrepreneurship simultaneously with a 1-credit Data Mine Seminar course.
All courses in this learning community cohort align with Purdue’s nationally ranked Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation where students can earn a credential, similar to a minor, and enhance their career prospects and choices. The 1-credit Seminar also aligns with the Applications in Data Science Certificate. See the website for the Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation here.
Eligibility
Any incoming or returning undergraduate student with interest in the data sciences and entrepreneurship.
