Speaker:
David Pritchard, US Census Bureau

David is an economist at the United States Census Bureau in the Center for Economic Studies, where he applies his skills and knowledge in data analysis and inference to produce reliable and relevant economic statistics and research. He received his PhD in Economics from Texas A&M University in 2022 and holds an MS in Economics from Purdue University and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Central Florida.
His research aims to understand and inform public policy’s economic and social impacts, using diverse empirical strategies to measure the causal effects of policies. His research specifically focuses on crime, health, and educational outcomes. In his free time, David enjoys traveling, watching and playing sports, and exploring the outdoors.
