For Outside Event #3, it is OK to make a video testimonial about your Data Mine experience this year, and send the mp4 file directly to Dr Ward:

It needs to have these characteristics, please:

It needs to be an mp4 file, about 1 minute to 2 minutes in length, at least 1920 wide and 1080 tall (i.e., in horizontal 1080p format, like a TV screen, 16:9 ratio).  Of course, higher quality (for instance, 4K quality) is OK with me too.  Students can submit the file to me on OneDrive:

and students need to give Dr Ward permission to download their video and use it in a Data Mine video montage, which could be publicly available, i.e., we might make a montage of portions of some of the student videos.  Please make sure to put your name and email address into the comments in OneDrive when you share the video so that we know who you are.

This option (just like all Outside Event #3 options) is due by April 12.  You are probably wondering, OK:  What do you need to submit to Gradescope if you try this new video option?  You simply go to Gradescope and indicate that you submitted a video to Dr Ward by April 12.

We have never had this option before, so please feel welcome to ask questions!  We value your experience in The Data Mine and we thought this might be a fun *option* for you to try for Outside Event #3 if you want to!
